Description

The CL 400H Half-Height Internal Tape Drive from Certance provides reliable data protection to small and medium businesses. It features Ultra 160 SCSI interface and offers a sustained data transfer rate of up to 72 GB/hr (native) and 144 GB/hr (compressed). Supporting media with 200 GB native capacity and 400 GB compressed capacity, the LTO Ultrium 2 tape drive is backward-compatible with LTO Ultrium 1 media. 13-Speed transfer ensures tape streaming and eliminates shoe-shining by automatically matching the host's transfer speed to one of thirteen CL 400H speeds. Incorporated Dynamic Powerdown protects the drive and cartridge in the event of power loss, while the SmartVerify feature concurrently verifies all data written to the tape, virtually eliminating the need for a traditional verify pass during backup operations. The tape drive comes bundled with the BakBone WorkGroup Backup Software making it a complete backup solution to rely on.
