Description

The HP SureStore DLT vs80 provides reliable, affordable backup for IT managers with mid-range servers. Through its scalable, tried-and-trusted DLT technology, it provides peace of mind for data protection. The HP SureStore DLT vs80 uses a standard DLTtape IV data cartridge and can read cartridges written by DLT4000 and DLT1 tape drives. Each cartridge provides up to 80 GB of data storage with up to 6 MBps compressed transfer rate. An 80 GB backup can be completed in less than 4 hours. The drive is packaged in a 5.25 in half-height internal form factor. A complete solution, the HP DLT vs80 includes mounting tray for HP NetServer L-Series, media, cleaning cartridge, backup software, installation instructions, jumpers and a screw pack. The cleaning cartridge is specially formulated to reduce particle buildup and to restore the thin-film MR recording head to peak performance.
