The HP SureStore DLT 40 is capable of backing up and restoring data at a sustained transfer rate of 10.8 GB -- the perfect answer to the problem of the ever-shrinking backup window. If you are running a medium to large network, the HP SureStore DLT 40 will meet all of your reliability, performance and compatibility needs. TapeAlert, a firmware diagnostic, continuously monitors the drive and media and warns you of any potential backup problems, thereby helping to maintain the integrity of data throughout the backup process. The HP SureStore DLT 40 is compatible with leading operating systems and backup applications, providing 40 GB of data storage on a single tape. The drive can be supplied as an internal or external unit or rack-mounted for use with the HP SureStore TapeRack enclosure.
