Description

The CL 800 Rackmount Second Tape Drive for 2U Rackmount from Certance is a reliable backup and restore solution for large businesses and enterprises. Featuring Ultra 160 SCSI interface, this tape drive delivers sustained data transfer rate of up to 245 GB/hr (native) and 490 GB/hr (compressed). It supports media with 400 GB native capacity and 800 GB compressed capacity, and is also backward-compatible with LTO Ultrium 1 and 2 media. The CL 800 boasts 13-Speed transfer to ensure tape streaming and eliminate shoe-shining by automatically matching the host's transfer speed to one of thirteen speeds. In addition, a Dynamic Powerdown feature protects the drive and cartridge in the event of power loss, while SmartVerify capability concurrently verifies all data written to the tape to eliminate the need for a traditional verify pass during backup operations. The CL 800 Tape Drive is bundled with BakBone NetVault software to provide a complete data backup and recovery solution in a convenient 2U rackmount form factor.
